Music genres are dead

This is mostly my opinion on how I think music genres are dead and the don't matter. Genres are a way to categorize things but aren't being used the way they should. People don't use them the way they should be, people put the wrong song in the wrong genre. And for me I usually don't use them because all music is music, when people ask what kind of music I like I usually just say I like all kinds of music except country. Any other time I use then is when I'm describing a song or album. But other than that I don't like to use them.

The silent sister

This book is about this girl Riley and how she is dealing with her fathers death. Her mom died and her sister, Lisa, committed suicide because of her depression, but she is still alive. (Don't say anything about me spoiling it, it even says it on the back of the book) While she is looking through her dads things she finds things out about her sister and about her own life. It's a little hard to explain but when you read the book you'll understand.

I like this book because I think it's interesting to read about how people go through problems like this, even though they aren't real people. It was very surprising to me and there's so much that happens in the book so it keeps you wanting to read more. It's not slow or boring there's always things that riley is finding out about her life.

The soundtrack of my life

Shakira- hips don't lie, this song was like a big part of my childhood because I loved Shakira and i would always listen to this song when I was little.

Lil Wayne- mrs. officer, when I was little I would listen to this song with my brother and and my mom and I would always make fun it too.

Chris Brown- with you, I have always loved Chris Brown and his music ever since I was little so this would for sure be in this list.

Panic! at the disco- I write sins not tragedies/nine in the afternoon, my brother and I would always listen to these songs when I was like in kindergarten and when it came on the radio we would listen to it together.

The strokes- hard to explain, this whole song describes me as a person, I really like this song also because it has like a chill vibe to it.

Kevin abstract- degas park, this is also another chill song that I always listen to when I'm in the car and its lit.

Arctic monkeys- r u mine?, arctic monkeys are one of my favorite bands this band is like a chill alternative type of genre and this is my favorite song off there album.

Bryson tiller- somthin tells me, I picked this song because I like the way it sounds and as you can tell I like really chill songs but this is also like rap so it's a little different.

The 1975- girls, one of my all time favorite bands and I love this song by them it always makes me happy cause the beat and it just makes me happy

Guns and roses- knockn on heavens door, I added this song because I feel like this would need some old rock and I love guns and roses, I always listen to them with my dad when we are in the car, he also teached me how to play this song on my acoustic.

I almost died on a rollercoaster

I don't actually die so sorry to disappoint anyone. A while ago when I went to six flags with my friends and we decided to go on the Goliath. It was terrifying i thought I was gonna die, I cannot explain how I felt it was so scary. I've only been on it that one time, I will not ever go on it again, I might. The roller coaster is made out of wood so I thought it was gonna break while I was on it. It didn't though but wooden roller coasters scare me cause I always think that they are gonna break. While I was on the ride glasses fell of but luckily they fell onto my lap so I didn't lose them. But that was my experience on that ride and I was fun but I don't really want to go on that ride ever again.

Things that irritate me

I never really realized how many things irritate me, so I wanted to make a list that a lot of people can relate to.
-when people call me to text them

-fake people
-when a video game starts lagging
-squeaky shopping carts
-Annoying people
-un-organized  people
-when people irritate me when I'm already irritated
-when people ask such obvious questions ex- your looking for something and someone asks "where did you last see it?"
-when your driving/in the passenger seat and there's the sun set but there's a glare so you have to put the sun visor down cause you forgot your sunglasses but your still uncomfortable and it's just a big mess.

Netflix show recommendations

this is a list of Netflix shows that I enjoy. I watch a lot of Netflix on my free time so I decided to make a list.
13 reasons why- a lot of people already watched this but i cant really explain my feelings for it cause I love it but also hate it at the same time and if you haven't watched it you should.

How I met your mother- I love this show it's funny and weird and I like how it's shown as the guy telling it as a story to his kids.

Degrassi next class- this show is like every basic high school show ever, but I like it. It has a different vibe to it that makes more enjoyable then all the others.

 Friends- everyone loves this show, who wouldn't. The characters are so humorous and everything about it is funny if you haven't watched it you need to.

The one and only Ivan

This book is about a gorilla in a zoo named Ivan. The whole book is through this perspective and what he thinks. Ivan talks about how he feels and what it's like for him to live in a zoo(within a mall) and how he feels isolated. He had a twin sister named tag and has a stuffed gorilla he named not-tag. The owners daughter, Julia, brings things to him like crayons so he can color and draw. He also has a friend who is a small elephant named ruby. But you'll have to read the book to learn more about him.

I recommend this book because I think the way it's portrayed is very different from most books. The way it's written is as if it were like a poem book or something like that because there is like 2 sentences on each page. The book is pretty long though so it's not like you'll finish it right away. I really liked this book and I think other people will also enjoy it as well.

Album recommendations

The 1975- I like it when you sleep for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it. I like this album because it's different from a lot of music the played on the radio and this band has a very different sound and they like to portray it in a different way.

Fall out boy- folie à duex. This is one of my all time favorite albums because FOB is one of my favorite bands and I like listening to their older music.

Panic! At the disco- Too weird to live, Too rare to die. This album is also by my all time favorite bands, this album is filled with very different sounds every song is different from the last.

Chris Brown- Royalty. I think that this album is different from all of his others because before he did a lot of pop music stuff you would hear on the radio, this one isn't it has music that is different but still his style of music just in a different way I guess you can say.

Problems in our world

I think the biggest problem that a lot of people are facing is money issues and not having enough of it. A lot of people don't have enough money for their family or just themselves and barely have enough of it to pay for necessities like rent, food, gas, etc. People are unable to move because of to high of rent or mortgage and things like taxes.

I think when I felt more powerful was when I would babysit, because I would be in charge of everything and do whatever. Or when I am able to make my own decisions because I am able to do what I want and chose something that I like and not have someone pick it for me.When I felt powerless was when I get something taken away from me because then I feel like I have nothing and i get so bored I just go to sleep because I feel like their is nothing to do anymore.

Positive change is when you help change something to improve it and make it better. Doing something to help others and make a change. To empower others is to make other people want to do things to help make a positive change and help others and we have to preserve them to help.

What issues do you think are a big problem in our world?

Life is beautiful

The kid survived like some of the kids who wrote the poems. Joshua had to hide and when he almost got caught they thought he was German. Sometimes they wouldn't get away with lying but he did because he had blonde hair. The movie wasn't as realistic as the actual event was. Except for the ending, that mad it seem more real than the rest of the movie.

The movie wasn't as realistic, it had some comedic parts. He did somethings that would've gotten him killed if he actually did them. The dad tried to make everything positive and said that it was just a game and the objective was that they had to listen to everything that their told to do.. The kid had to hide because he didn't go with the others to take a "shower" so if they saw him they would kill him. The dad would try and make signs like play music to let the mom know they were still there. The movie was funny but the end got more serious and shows what would actually happen but everything before that part was humorous.

Life is shown as beautiful because throughout the movie it shows how positive the dad was because he had his child there with him. If his kid wasn't there he would've been more depressed but his child was there to make him happier. When they got to the camps instead of telling the kid what was actually happening he told him it was a game and at the end you win a tank. That made the kid happier and also made his dad happier because he was able to keep his son safe without telling him the truth.

Holocaust butterfly

Shakira

This book is about Shakira and how she got started on her career. It talks about her trying to get where she is now. They talk about the people she meet and who helped her. It also says how she made most of her albums and how she wrote her songs. The book elaborates on her life and what she had to do in order to be able to make music like learning English.

I picked this book because I love Shakira ever since I was really little. And I got to learn more about her and her life. It's really interesting to learn about how someone started their career. I recommend this book if you like her and her music. Or any of these kinds of books to learn more about someone.

Propaganda

It's trying to say that Jews are like worshipping the devil, and are evil. This is trying to make people go against them and think that they are trying tomake other people join them or something like that. They used to blame Jews for most of the problems they had. They would suggest people stop talking to them and being friends because they could get themselves killed just for being their friend.

Survivors by Allan Zullo

This book is about people's stories who survived the holocaust and what they had to go though. There are 8 stories all from different people and there experiences. Each story shows the difficult things they had to do to survive and keep themselves safe and alive. Most of these stories are from when they were kids and younger. They tell how they had to hide and lie to a lot of people just to live. A lot of these people didn't know if they would see there family's again.

I recommend this book if you wanna learn more about the holocaust and how Jews struggled during that time. This is a very informative book and also interesting because you get to learn how they survived and all the things that really happened. I really like the first persons story. She talks about the things she did like hide from the nazis so she wouldn't get taken away from her family.

Regret :///

Regret. That's what a lot of us feel when we think we've made the wrong decision. I regret letting the most important thing in my life leave me. This was last month, I'm not gonna say names but it was someone who I was dating at the moment. I got a text from this person saying that things weren't really working out. I kept telling them not to leave me and that I love them but they still left me. We still talk but I honestly wish that I would've done more to stop them from leaving me. But the thing that really sucked about all of this was probably that I was at McDonald's while it was happening so I had to act like I was ok and nothing was wrong when really I wanted to die right then and there. We still talk but it's not the same. Oh well I just have to figure this out before I get really confused about everything.

hanging out with Chris Brown

If I were to hangout with any celebrity it would have to be between the five Josh Dun, Brendon Urie, Chris Brown, Pete wentz, or Romeo santos. But I have to chose one so that would be Chris Brown.I loved him ever since I was a little child so I would be very excited to be able to hangout with him. I would ask him about his life and explain how he got to where he is now. And how he got through all the tough situations in his life. I would want to go to his studio and see how he records and edits his music and the process of making his music. I would also want to play with his 2 year old daughter Royalty, she is so adorable and I would love to meet her. That's basically all I would do if I were to hangout with Chris Brown.

Advice to the president

Alright, advice that I would give to the president is to just quit. But since that won't happen I guess I'll just give some other advice. Stop acting like a child. If people were to describe you they would probably start with something like child. Be smart with your decisions because now they matter. Stop acting like your better than everyone else cause your not. A lot of people don't like you, and that's not a good thing maybe be nice once in a while, I mean it wouldn't  hurt to not act like a jerk. I don't have much advice for you because I don't like you and don't care about what you do unless it's gonna effect me.

Super bowl commercials

I thought the Kia commercial with Melissa McCarthy was interesting because they had her doing weird things every time they called her. I couldn't comprehend the meaning of it at first but after I watched it I understood what it was about and what they were trying to say. During the commercial Melissa kept getting calls to do different things. What she would do is drive to each place where she was told she was needed. And at each place she went to she would drive there and do what she had to do. The meaning for this commercial was that the car is very useful and has a lot of benefits such as being able to talk on the phone while driving, and being able to drive wherever you need .

The dumbest argument I got into

The worst argument I can recall having was with one of my best friends last year. We used too arguing a lot because she would think that I was lying whenever I said I couldn't hang out after I moved. Sometimes I did have to lie to her cause she would be mad if I told her I had already made other plans so I told her that I to go out with my cousin. One time I was really sick so I told her I couldn't hang out cause I was really sick and didn't feel good. She thought that I was lying and saying things like "yea right, sure you are" so that irritated me so I sent her a picture of the medicine that i was supposed to take when I went to the hospital. Then after that she stopped thinking I was lying whenever I couldn't hang out.

Faking it

The only thing that I'm confident about is how I draw everything else I'm pretty bad at or I'm very insecure about. Whenever I talk in front of the class or whatever i get really nervous because I'm usually shy when I have to talk in front of people. All I do is just act like I don't care which is what I do most of the time and then think that people care about what I'm saying and I mostly forget about it and then it's over with. And not directly looking at people helps too just look right above their head and then it looks likeyour making eye contact with them.

The election

My thoughts on the election overall is I don't like either of them to be honest but if I had to choose someone it would be Hilary. I don't like trump because he is racist and the way he talks is very unprofessional and his wife plagiarized Mitchell Obama's speech. It's very difficult to take trump serious because he doesn't act professional. He makes fun of people and he acts like he can do what he wants but there's a whole process that he would have to go through to do the things he wants as president. But yea I don't really have much thoughts about this election.

New year same me

2016 :/ this year sucked everyone was mortified to be honest but it finally over with and should never be mentioned ever. I don't really have any new year resolutions because I'm always the same. The only that changes is probably my hair color but that's about it. But I have to think of a goal for this year but I also don't wanna be cliche so yea. All I really want to do this year is graduate and figure out what's happening in my life cause it's a mess. I just wanna do something with my life and not waste it cause I haven't been doing what I want and been stuck inside. I wanna make memories that I can look back on, I don't wanna look back on my life and realize that I never did anything fun or memorable.

how I helped over break

over break I helped my mother cook pozole for Christmas. I help her clean the kitchen. I also helped her with cleaning the house and clean after we were done eating. I also helped watch my nephew when he came over. And I bought presents for my friends and family. I bought my friends a necklaces, and shirts. I got clothes for my family.
