Graffiti article

People see graffiti as something that is disrespectful and don't see the positive side to it. A lot of people do graffiti as a way to portray their artistic skills and abilities. Most graffiti that's made gives a positive message and people don't see that, they think people do it because they don't care about the property. Even though not all graffiti is creative or artistic it doesn't really have an effect with most things.

“To endorse the graffiti of those early years was risky business: Norman Mailer was widely criticized for arguing in the “Faith of Graffiti” that it was not blight, but pure art.” (About New York- By Jim Dwyer) This is telling us that people do it for the art not to be disrespectful. It is also a creative way to show their art because this way everyone can see while they're driving, walking, or on a train.

“Well, it was wrong for society to forget about a lot of young people. The Bronx was burning, the president had said the city should drop dead. Out of necessity we invented an art form. It came from very young people that didn’t necessarily have any art history to stand on. They were creating art history without a script in their hand.”
This quote states that society isn't as focused on younger people and their abilities and originality as they should be. They feel as if they aren't being noticed therefore causing them to do graffiti to show people(society) what they are capable of.

Overall graffiti is a form of art that shouldn't be taken down because it's how a lot of younger people portray their imagination. The graffiti is what makes buildings look different and not boring, it attracts people to it because they might be interested in the drawing that is on the wall.

The best gift I've ever got

 The best gift I ever got from someone was my Xbox. I know it's pretty cliche to say that it was a electronic but let me explain. So in the past I've had about 5 or 6 Xbox not including the one I got as a gift. All of them broke for some unknown reason that's way too complicated for me to even describe. I've been bugging my parents to get me a new one for Christmas because the one I had at the time was broke for a while. The gift was also for my dad and brother, but my dad knew what it was even though his name was on it too. On Christmas they let me open it and I was tearing it apart. I was really happy because I finally got to play my games.

The girl who was supposed to die

This book is about a girl named Katie who was kidnaped and doesn't remember anything. She wakes up in a cabin on the ground, doesn't remember how she got there or who she is. When she escapes from the cabin she finds a car and drives around to find somewhere to get help. She meets a guy named Tyler who helps her try to avoid the people trying to kill her. I recommend this book if you are interested in mystery or if you like books that are realistic fiction.

I chose this quote because it has a really deep meaning to me. This quote means that if you create something that only you know and on one else that can help you with a lot of things like if your going through something this will make you have a sense of purpose. I have my own thing that only I know that means something to me, no one else knows. If people know what it means then that purpose that you have is gone because it's not yours anymore, everyone knows what it is so it's not that same as only you knowing. I like this quote because it made me create something for myself that only I know. This quote is from Tyler Joseph, who is the sing from my favorite band twenty øne piløts.

What I'm greatful for

This year I've realized a lot of things and a lot of that is the things/people I have and that I'm grateful for them. I'm greatful for the peoplein my life right now. I've have a lot of problems with people before I'm the past and now I realized that i should just enjoy the people I have now because they make me feel happy and I wouldn't want to spend the his year with anyone else. I'm also greatful for the things I have because I know I don't have a lot but it's something that I know is very important to me and I'm greatful that I have those things in my life.

Twisted

This book is about this boy named Tyler. He goes through a lot of struggles in his life, he has a probation officer because he has done bad things before, he isn't a very popular kid and doesn't have very many friends. He starts talking to a girl Bethany who he had liked for a while. They go to a party (separately but they meet up) bad things happen at the party to Bethany that Tyler is blamed for doing. The police show up and question him. He might be arrested for this and he is questioning himself because he is starting to wonder if he did that to Bethany. To find out what happens to them read this book.

I recommend this book because it is very different than most books where there is the basic people that do basic stuff, this book has normal people with problems that could possibly happen to anyone. It's more realistic than other books about teenagers and it's a really interesting book.

Best day ever

The best day ever was when I went to go see my favorite band Panic! At The Disco. They are a alternative-rock band. I went to see them on 6/11/16. My friend Sarah took me to go see them with her because they are both our favorite band. We had lawn seats so we couldn't really see good but it was cool. The singer of the band Brendon Urie did like 2 backflips, they were pretty cool. My friend and I were freaking out cause this was our favorite band that we waited 7 months to see.

The next day I couldn't really talk cause I lost my voice. My friend and I were both yelling "BEEBO" and "ITS DAT BOi" but yea it was cool. My favorite part was when he sang bohemian rhapsody by Queen because that's one of my favorite songs. And when he also sang I Write Sins Not Tragedies because that's one of the songs from there first album. It was pretty cool.

News article- clowns

There are clowns lurking around towns terrifying people and kids. People are saying that they have seen clowns in the forest. They have said that clowns try to lure children into forest with candy or money. People who have seen clowns were around forests, cornfields, and streets at night. There are many videos of these clown sightings that people think are fake. In the videos the clowns usually have a bat, knife, or some sort of weapon.

People are making theory's about the clowns saying that it could be a cult of clowns, a promotion for the remake if it, or just a prank. People are terrified to go outside at night because of these clowns. No one is sure weather someone is just playing around or if they are actually murderers. People are terrified to go out at night or near a forest. Be careful of these clowns running around the streets.

The outsiders

I learned a lot about Johnny though out the book. I learned that johnny is not as strong as the others. He feels threatened and targeted, that's why he always has his pocketknife with him. It's so he feels safe and protected. He also has to deal with his family and the only real family he has are the guys. They are the only ones that are there and he is protected when he's with them. Jonny is a very important character in this story because he helps Ponyboy run away and he in the process he killed Bob. He goes with ponyboy to the church. And on his way back get injured very badly. He goes to hospital and is in there for awhile because his burns are bad and the way he got knocked over with the piece of wood. He eventually dies in the hospital and it was a very sad moment for everyone in the group.

Throwback

As a child my favorite shows were the wiggles, blues clues, and spongebob. My favorite movie was Scooby doo. When I was a child I would always swear at my parents and my grandpa because whenever I was in the car with my grandma she would swear at the other drivers. When my grandpa asked me if I wanted to watch a Disney princess movie I would swear at him and tell him I don't like princess's. When my 2 older brothers wanted me to play with them I would tell them "I can't I have to do my homework." Even thought I was 3 and didn't go to school I always wanted to go to school because I wanted to be like the "big kids".
When I would go to stores like IKEA with my mom, aunt, and cousin my cousin and I would always try get lost so we can run around in the store. I remember going to a furniture store and going to the mattresses and we would jump on the beds then run away cause we didn't want to get caught.

tips for my blog

2 things that I want to work on for my blog is better writing and how to make what I am writing more interesting. I want to work on my writing because sometimes when I start writing it doesn't make sense. It'll be all over the place and not in order or will be mixed up. I also want to work on making my blogs more interesting. I don't want it to start to bored the reader cause they will lose interest and probably not even read anymore of the blogs. Making them interesting and keeping the readers attention will make them want to read more or keep reading. I want whoever is reading my blogs to stay interested.

Best trip ever

The best trip I ever went on was when I went to Georgia over the summer. My mom, dad, aunt, friend, and were there for 5 days, we drove and that took us 1 day to drive. We got there at 3 a.m and went to our motel room. Once we woke up we got ready to go to my grandmas house, we were there to visit her, this was the first time I saw her in 3 years. We went to her house ate there then we went to the mall. There wasn't much at the mall so we went back to her house. We stayed there for a little while then left back to the motel. My friend and I went to the pool to go swimming for a while, we saw a frog by the gate of the pool, the pool was outside. While we were there we went to Jekyll Island. Once we got into the water I got stung by a jellyfish and it hurt, a lot. After we were swimming for a while we got out, we saw a shark a little far out in the water. The next day we went out to Florida for lunch at a restaurant called Olio in Jacksonville then went back to our motel room. It took us a day to get back home, we got back at 4 a.m.

I read this book last minute cause I'm trash

Paper towns by-John Green
Quentin "Q" Jacobsen has fallen for Margo Roth Spigelman but they don't talk. Margo changes all of that one night when she comes back to Quentin. She shows up at his window asking for help to get back at the people who betrayed her. Quentin accepts and helps her by driving her around the town, buying strange things and sneaking into places with her. The next few days of school Margo doesn't show. Margo has ran away from home. Quentin finds an address then skips graduation with Ben, Radar, and Lacey. Margo is living in a barn and is found by them. Margo was surprised when they found her because the clues weren't meant to lead to her. Quentin see's that the life he imagined she lived wasn't as he thought. Margo wants Quentin to go to New York with her but, he can't cause he wants to stay in Orlando. They tell each other they love them and kiss. They say there final goodbyes then promise to stay in touch.

The main character of this story is Quentin "Q" Jacobsen. Both oh his parents are professionals at what they do for work. Quentin doesn't have any problems. But an old friend, Margo Roth Spigelman, who drags him into doing some very complicated stuff. Margo is popular and has many friends. Quentin has few friends and focuses on his school work. Margo is an old friend of his, but they don't talk anymore. Recently Margo has needed help and has asked Quentin for help. He has to do somethings that are out of his comfort zone, but he helps her anyways. He wants to try and become friends with her. He goes on a trip with Margo and they go around the city. Quentin learns a lot about Margo that he would have never known. The next day at school Quentin hopes to see Margo, but she never shows up for school. The next morning Quentin wakes up to find out that Margo ran away.

In 10 years

In 10 years from now I want to have a small apartment in downtown Chicago. I want to still live in Chicago because I really like it downtown and enjoy living here. I would travel with friends and go to places I've never been to. I would work as a special fx/makeup artist for shows and movies. Mostly be working on zombie shows/movies or scary movies. I want to do this because it really interests me and I enjoy practicing how to do it, so when I can actually do it professionally it would be fun for me to do as my job.
